Excited or Edgy Prior to Wedding Date

As a woman, what do you feel when your wedding is a few days from now? Most people you know will ask you, "Excited for the wedding?."

I for one is not sure whether or not I am excited about my wedding. Its not that there are problems about my partner and I. I am sure there is none. What I am more particular or conscious about is the outcome of the wedding.

Will the people like it? A friend told me that there are always loopholes when it comes to wedding. There is no perfect wedding. What is important is how the couple felt during that moment when they are bonded as one.

Hmmm. I am not so sure about that. We are living in a society and we've got to consider that. What do you think? Should I be excited or edgy for my wedding?

It hurts to realize that there are men who are conceited to the extent that they are assuming that women do like or love them, gush. Sometimes, women are just being polite. Women appreciate the essence of friendship and limits it there. Some men hold otherwise.

The worst thing is, they insist that women like them when in fact, the latter is just being friendly. Worst comes to worst when men dont stop on what they believe in. It becomes a hassle to women.

In this case, its better to avoid the situation specifically the man. If a man calls you, to avoid this man, you can change your cellular phone number. Ignore him in short.

Are you a Twilight fan? I bet most of you are. The movie was released June 30 of this year. I believe, there is no need for me to provide you a summary of what transpired in this movie. I am just curious on where I can watch it online. I searched and searched and of no avail. There are websites and blogs claiming that they have videos where to watch Twilight Saga Eclipse Free Online. There may be some that actually provide where to watch Twilight Saga Eclipse Free Online but I just could not find it.

So much for that. Besides, my friends and I are planning to watch the movie this Saturday. I dont really know if I am excited to watch Twilight Saga Eclipse on the big screen. I was not satisfied in the previous two parts. Well, we'll see to that.

Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days Imprisonment

I just learned about this issue. And its definitely true. Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to suffer a 90-day imprisonment. Reports say that Lohan violated probation rules. She was pleading before the judge that she has no idea she committed said infringements. However, a decision was rendered. It is expected that Lindsay Lohan will commence the sentence on July 20.

My feministic views:

There is no reason that the judge would render such a penalty when Lindsay Lohan herself is not liable. Maybe this is the time for Lindsay Lohan to wake up and straighten up. She's young and famous. Most women out there envy her. Maybe this is the time to think how lucky she was prior to this incident. Dont abuse what you have.

Facial Cleaning

Wow, its almost two years since I last updated this blog. What was I thinking. There has been a lot of things that has happened for those long absence of blogging.

Anyway, I've got a story to tell. Its all about having some facial cleaning. For several years, I refused to visit beauty clinics or facial clinics whatever you call them. I had a bad experience with that. However, due to my sister's insistence, I had to accompany her to visit this kind of place. Of course, we joined her by actually having some facial cleaning whatever.

I did not like the place. It seemed unlikely for a beauty spa to be that illuminating. I also observed that the clinic lacks appropriate machines. Whew. Well, we have to go through with it. We already paid for our services. My sister had a moment with the doctor. Of course, she's recommending some of her products. I already knew that she would do that. But my sister is experiencing some irritations. And I already warned her about that. Not that I have questions on the doctor's credibility to give some medical advice. There is always that "business" concept in every beauty clinics. Am I right?

SURPRISES, SURPRISES, SURPRISES

So as I've mentioned, I and my boyfriend are celebrating our 6th anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend. Imagine that. Our relationship is going strong after that long years. Is this what we call long engagement? I dont think so. Why? That is because, there has been no marriage proposal yet. So I will limit my discussion of what will happen today.

Well, all I know is that we will be going to church this afternoon. As a woman, it is naturally for me to expect something more than that. But personally, I avoid expecting too much from my boyfriend because it hurts when what you expect is going to happen will not come true. It is better to wait what will happen with your relationship rather than leading your relationship into something you and and your boyfriend will regret in the end. What I do now is just wait. And be content of what will happen tonight.

To continue on with these long years, I guess I did my part as a girlfriend. After all we would not reach these years together if there is no give and take relationship. He sacrificed something and I did too. What matters most is we stayed happy with each other and are still happy with each other. Do you have confessions to make? Open it with someone. In this case, we have different feministic views. In my part, as a woman, I could not dare to watch my boyfriend or husband to be in that position. Yes there is a lot of money after a game. However, money can be earned in so many ways. And hurting yourself is not one of them. Even if this is the dream of my boyfriend or husband I would not allow him to continue such dream. This may be the reason of his death which I could not accept. I dont want my boyfriend or husband to die ahead of me. I dont want to be alone. Am I being selfish? I dont think so. What about our children? Growing without a father is pernicious. It will affect the personality of the child as a whole. I can watch Pacquiao vs. De La Hoya fight and wait for the result. But never will I fall in love with men in boxing for money.

As a woman, we reach a point when we fall in love. Although we dont want to, but it cant be avoided. This is a part of being a woman. We do fall in love. And with it comes expectations, excitement and fun. I say expectations because there are times when you expect something from your man. There are things that, as a woman, you want him to do for you. And if he does it withou you telling him, its something that makes you happy and makes you wanna be with him forever. It meant you are meant for each other.

So, if you are into a relationship, and you have been involved for more than a year, of course celebrating your anniversary is something you are excited to experience. You are thinking of what's your man is going to give to you. In short, you wonder what your gift will be. Lol, but its true. And that's a part of it. It makes a woman happy when a man flourish him with everything she needs. Of course, there are exceptions. Why? Because there are some women who wanted to be independent and think that they dont need a man beside them. Well, it really depends on what a woman thinks.

BEING HAPPY WITH OTHERS' ACHIEVEMENTS

Everyday of our lives is a struggle. However, not all struggles will result into happiness which happiness is what we longed for even in a while. There are times when we crave for the feeling of being successful. This feeling or aim is true both to women and men. The difference that it makes to women is that they mean what they feel. They strive to do what it takes to be happy in either aspects of their lives.

Whenever women see other people happy because of a certain success they achieved, women tend to be happy too. Of course this is how they really feel. But in some aspects, there is jealousy to it. Jealous not in away that they curse the successful person of what he or she achieved. Women feel such jealousy because they question themselves how they come to have achieved the same. And they question how did they do that? Interestingly enough, they still remain happy for that person and continue to go on with life making such successful individual a motivation.

With that, it may be said that being happy with others' is a good virtue or attitude. It helps us live life to the fullest and making others an example to strive harder to attain what others have come to achieved.

MISSING YOUR PARTNER

I will be away for while. And the first thing that worries me aside from the blogging thing, is that I will be missing my boyfriend. Even though that I will only be away for only awhile, it seemed that the hours are running so slow. The feeling is quite hard. Its like my heart is carrying something heavy. Isnt love supposed to be a feeling that makes you happy? But why this?

Love is an unexplainable feeling that lovers only understand. If love is only a happy feeling which binds the lovers why is agony and sometimes pain exist? Wouldnt this be contrary to what love should be?

This is one of the reasons why love is complicated and unexplainable. And as a woman I cant understand why it should be like this.

Without women being able to labor that baby out, the earth is without human beings. And how would life be interesting without these uniquely born individuals.

A baby's birth on the other hand brings joy not just to the mother but also to the father and that makes the whole kin also. The joy that this baby brings is entirely unique that it eliminates worries and pain and makes time runs fast and amazingly interesting in the days to come.

Every year The Miss Universe Beauty Pageant is held in certain parts of the world. For this year, the beautiful country of Vietnam is the chosen one. Now and then, every country is preparing for this prestigious beauty pageant hoping that their bet will win the title. Undoubtedly, each country has given all the effort, time and money to create a candidate that will be worthy of the crown. Besides, this very candidate is a representative of the country she came from. What you see in one of these candidates is the replica of the country she belonged.

Every candidate in this pageant is worthy of the crown. The top five in this competition are Miss Columbia, Miss Venezuela, Miss Dominican Republic, Miss Mexico and Miss Russia. After a series of sets in this pageant, there is one woman who tops them all and brings home the crown. For this year, the Miss Universe Crown was won by Dayana Mendoza from Venezuela. She is indeed beautiful and has proven her talents to win this prestigious title. She has undergone countless and tiresome preparations just to be in this pageant. No wonder she won the crown.

Congratulations to Miss Venezuela. Many opportunities will be bestowed upon this woman. It is hoped that she will be a good example to all women all over the world. Dreaming big is not bad after all. Once you dream and you accompany it with an action there is no way that it can’t be achieved.

ASSURANCE FROM THE MAN

Once a woman is in love, all she thinks of is what makes his man happy. Her life from then on only focuses to the man she loves. Every little detail of the man is taken into account. Her day begins and ends thinking about the man. Practically her life is all about her man. Summing it all, a woman in love is nothing without the man she loves.

What then would a woman need after all these? It is not the chocolates or the flowers; neither the money nor other expensive accessories. A little effort of showing how he cares to her is simply what the woman would love to hear from her man. A woman needs continuous assurance of the love and care that the man does have toward her. Saying “I love you,” “I miss you,” and the like gives more impact than those materials things provided. Love between two persons should not be left unattended. As what they commonly say, it should be nurtured like a tree.

All things or matters here on earth are subject to care and love. How you manifest your love depends on you provided, that you should ascertain that what you wanted to convey is certainly understood. Loving a special person is a gift that not everyone is bestowed with.

MAN PROBLEM

Finding a partner in life is one of the aims a woman have. Don’t deny it. It’s true. If you no longer worry about financial stuffs, something else then is lacking in you. And that is finding a true partner. It is correct to say that we can’t have everything in life. But then we want it as much as possible to be complete or even more perfect. It is said that the ratio of women to men is 3:1. Would this create another obstacle to finding the perfect man for you?

I guess it’s partly true. There are chances that women may find it hard to obtain a man with the qualities that they want. Some women opt for good looking men while there are some who opt for the personality. However with the less number of men today, would there be a chance that women will still find the man of their dreams? This is a question that I have a doubt in answering. There are some I know who have found the man of their dreams; while others settle for those who are around them whether or not they have met the standards women longed for. On the other hand women prefer for the same sex relationship. Nowadays it’s difficult to look for quality men. There may be some who are good looking but only a few have good personalities. Other men may be rich but you can’t afford to look at their face all day long. Worst there are those men who treat you like you are his servant or a punching bag, grrrr!

Has life becoming this pernicious now and then? Would women then prefer to be alone than getting married or entering into relationships? This is one of the realities that a woman must face. Whatever your decision might be as a woman, all I can say is choose the man whom you are happy with and whom who is inlove with you more than you do.

PANICKY AT THIRTY

Yesterday my sister bought the latest edition of Cosmopolitan. She is not a subscriber of said magazine but I am not surprised why she bought the new edition. Why? But of course, it has an article about KC Concepcion who is her idol eversince this child was born. Anyway, let’s leave my sister on her daydreaming, lol. What attracted me most in said magazine is the article about being panicky when a woman reaches her thirties.

The article made mention that a woman should not be worried even if she is already at her thirties but still single. Do you agree with that? I sure do. Being single is fun. You don’t have commitments and responsibilities. You do not have to worry what your partner tells you. Being single is like embracing freedom. It’s like breathing fresh air. But of course I am not telling you to close your doors to a possible catch of a long time partner. Why? For the simple reason that love in particular is never gone whenever you are still single at thirties. It may be that you haven’t crossed your path with the man you are destined to be with. It is the fact of meeting the right man at the right moment that keeps love flourished with magic. Don’t rush things. Let the man of your life come to you in the most exceptionally manner that you’ll never ever forget.

So, have I in away eliminated your worries or confusions with regards to this matter? I hope so. Love will find its way to you. A woman is a special person who deserves to be loved and cared for.

SLEEPING LATE AT NIGHT

It is exactly twelve midnight. Nevertheless, here I am with my eyes still open. There are different voices that I can hear. I can even hear the clock ticking. I tried to go to sleep but it just makes my head aches. I can feel that there seemed to be something wrong in my left leg and it is making me awake. However, I could only feel this at night not on daytime. It is not pain but it hurts. It has been days that I am experiencing this kind of hurt and it has been days that I have been sleeping very late also. It is only to date that I thought of making use of my laptop and write something.

While I am lying on bed waiting to be asleep, so many things pop up into my mind. Most of them are about my future. I worry a lot. Nevertheless, I thought that it would be better if I let it be just the way it should be. Yes, I have plans for my future but I have to accept the truth that not all of my plans will happen. The thing that you most expect to occur is the least that will be given to you. For now, I will focus on the things that I should do. Whatever the result may be, I should be prepared for it. As long as I do my best in the task that has been assigned to me, there is no reason why I should fail. Today is never the end. There is always tomorrow. Others may be ahead of me; but life is never a competition. Everyone has its own time to succeed.

Now I realize that once you are alone you think of so many things that makes your heart heavy. If only you can be strong and be prepared of what will happen in the days to come, you will never worry about anything. Expect the worst and hope for the best so they say. I surely hope and am happier if I could sleep easily so that I will no longer think about unnecessary things and worry about them. I wonder if most women experience this. If you are, your advice is surely needed.

EXPRESSING WHAT YOU FEEL

It is said that every individual is unique. That’s a fact. And obviously we all know that. Even two identical twins are nothing alike in person. We grow as an individual depending on the circumstances surrounding us. What we want to be as a person is a choice that we have to make.

Personally, as a woman, I have a hard time expressing how I feel. This goes true in all circumstances not only in terms of love. Even in ordinary situations in life, I find it difficult to really say what I feel. I prefer to listen than being the person who commences the conversation. However, there are circumstances that I do open up myself especially to persons whom I considered close to my heart. As a woman, at first I rarely comment on my boyfriend’s actions. I just nod or agree as to what he plans to do with his life. But as days became weeks and weeks became months and so on, I observed that I no longer just nod and agree. Instead, I open up on what I think is best and no longer holding secrets from him. Maybe time makes everything change. And may be because our relationship is getting stronger and stronger each year, we build trust to each other.

This kind of feeling applies similarly as to any other persons in my life. At first the persons I meet are just strangers to me. However, as time passes by they became a part of my life. In the beginning I was hesitant to talk but in the long run, I am becoming the person who talks a lot, lol. Time indeed changes everything for the better.

JUMPING FOR JOY

Lately, I just took up an examination. The questions are very long. As for me, it was not really a hard day for I have not seriously studied the subject. I don’t know if I’ll pass the exam. It doesn’t matter anymore for me. What is important is I took the examination. I luckily forced myself to take the exam.

Anyway, after the examination, I was surprised upon receiving my result in a subject which I took up last semester. I was really expecting that I failed in that examination for I was sick at the time when I took the exam. I read, may be four to five pages on the day of the examination. I was so sick that I am reading while lying on a sofa. On the examination night, I just answered and answered whatever that came out in my mind. I was pretty sure that my answers are unjustified. But then I was so happy when I knew of the result. I pass the examination! This is really unbelievable. I did not expect it. Upon reaching home, I immediately read my answers, which I do not usually do. Even at present, I don’t have an idea that my answers have substance. Anyway, I am really happy that I wanted to jump for joy in school but of course I controlled my feeling for there are so many people there and it is so shameful.

This is one of the traits of a woman. Of course this varies from person to person. A woman has the power to control what she feels. She acts distinctly at the right time and place. A woman’s feeling of happiness may be showed in different ways. One is by jumping for joy. Nevertheless, even if she feels that way, she can still hide it and show the feeling later. Isn’t that weird? Lol. I must admit I am sometimes like that.

BEING A FEMALE

This blog is created for me to express how I love being a woman. We know from the beginning that before we were born we dont have a choice as to whether we will become a man or a woman. Neither do I have any idea as to whether there is a pattern followed for purposes of the same (Isn't this a silly question? lol). Anyway, it is undeniable that knowledge of our sexes may be obtained only months before we were born. Neither do our parents have the notion of whether their first born child is a boy or a girl. Haven't you wondered why you became a girl and your friend became a man?

For me, growing being a lady is not really that hard neither it is that simple. I may say that I am a late bloomer. When I was in my elementary and high school years I was only focused on my studies and extra-curricular activities. I was not conscious of my physical outlook as long as I am dressed according to occasion and according to what my family can afford. At that time it doesn’t really matter what I look, so far that I can recall. College days came and my surroundings became different. I have female cottagemates who love to put something on their faces. In fact many of them have maintained some beauty products which they use every night. One small pimple is such a big deal to them. There are so many beauty tips that they believe I should learn. Wow... It seemed that to be a woman is a learning process and I still have a lot to learn.

This blog I guess is a line up of the many fun, laughter, tears, struggles, etc. of me as a woman. Let's celebrate being a woman!
